I. How we collect and use your personal information
(I) General Overview
Status Saver firmly believes that basic privacy rights should not vary depending on where you reside worldwide. Therefore, we consider any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, especially the person's name, identification information, location data, online identifiers, or data specific to the person's body, physiology, genetics, psychology, or related data, as "personal information," regardless of the person's place of residence.
We only collect information that is specific, concrete, clear, and necessary for the intended purposes. We ensure that your information is not further processed in ways that are incompatible with these purposes. If we intend to use your personal information for purposes not explicitly stated in this Privacy Policy, we will seek your consent again.
When collecting your personal information, we do so through three methods, including 1) information directly provided by you; 2) information generated during your use of this software through automated means; 3) information obtained from other sources.
You have the right to choose whether to provide personal information when using Status Saver products or services or when we request it. While it is not mandatory to provide personal information to Status Saver, in some cases, if you choose not to provide it, Status Saver may be unable to provide you with the relevant products or services or respond to and resolve the issues you encounter. We only collect and use your personal information for the purposes described in this Policy. The following examples illustrate the personal information we collect:
(II) Main Business Functions of Status Saver and Collection and Use Scenarios
The main business function of this software is to provide you with a tool for downloading image and video statuses.
1. Providing image and video status download services
To help you timely save images and videos cached in specified social media apps, we will request access to your file and media permissions to access and save relevant images and videos. Please be aware that we only save based on your authorization, and your images and videos are stored locally on your device. We do not upload such information to our servers. These permissions are necessary for this function, and if you refuse to provide them, we may not be able to provide you with this functionality.
2. Providing Push Notification Services
We may also send you service notifications and other messages based on your device identifier, operating system version, network information, and information about your use of this application. If you wish to unsubscribe from notification messages, you can go to Settings > Notification Center > Notification Management to withdraw your consent. The shutdown path may vary depending on the different versions.
3. Improving Our Products or Services
For the reasonable need to improve our products or services, we may obtain information about you, including your device information and behavior records within the service. Specifically, we may collect hardware device identifiers (GAID, MAC address, Android ID), phone model, system version information, system language, country or region settings of the phone, Status Saver version number, click records, browsing records, and abnormal log information for statistical analysis. This helps optimize our product service strategies and identify, analyze, and fix abnormal issues.
(III) Other Situations Where Your Information May Be Collected
In some cases allowed by law, we may obtain your personal information from other individuals, business entities, public channels, or other third parties you instruct. We will explain and obtain your consent when collecting from such sources.
We may also collect other information about you, your device, or usage of the service through other means, which will be explained and consented to at the time of collection.
In order to better improve our product layout and provide you with better services, we may conduct research, statistical analysis, and predictions on the collected information in an anonymized manner (including using anonymous data for machine learning or model algorithm training). We will take technical and other necessary measures to process the collected personal information so that such data cannot be re-identified to specific individuals and cannot be restored. According to applicable laws and regulations, the use of such processed data does not require separate notification and consent.
II. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information
How We Store Your Personal Information
We will store personal information collected with your consent in accordance with the privacy data protection laws of the relevant countries. In cases where local laws and regulations do not prohibit it, we may also store collected personal information in countries or regions outside the business location.
Currently, Status Saver may store your personal information in Frankfurt. Specifically:
Personal information collected and generated in our business will be stored on servers in Frankfurt.
In the future, depending on business needs, we may introduce servers in other regions or countries, and we will update this policy accordingly.
Whether personal information is stored in the country where the business is located or in other countries or regions without violating legal provisions, we will follow the regulations on data storage according to relevant laws and regulations. We will also consider the characteristics, scope, purposes, and potential risks of personal information processing, as well as the serious consequences in case of harm, and implement necessary security measures. For example, we will use encryption and de-identification methods to store collected personal information. Additionally, we will store information for the shortest period required by business needs, unless you agree to extend the retention period or it is permitted by law. Data beyond the storage period or data you request us to delete will be deleted or appropriate measures will be taken without violating relevant laws and regulations.
How We Protect Your Personal Information
We will take other necessary measures to ensure the security of your personal information, preventing misuse, unauthorized access, and unauthorized modification, disclosure, or destruction.
We implement security protection measures to safeguard your personal information and regularly monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and attacks. We use management, technical, and physical protection measures, taking into account the nature, processing method, and security of personal information. We continuously strive to improve these protection measures to ensure the security of your personal data.
Certainly, it needs to be emphasized that even with the most sophisticated measures, it is impossible to guarantee absolute prevention of data storage security incidents. In the event of a security breach, we will report to the relevant regulatory authorities in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws and regulations. We will provide the types of personal data involved in the data breach, the number of data subjects, potential consequences of the data breach, and the remedial measures we plan to take as requested by regulatory authorities. We will take measures to remedy or mitigate the damage and consequences of the data breach as much as possible. In situations where the law allows or requires, we will promptly notify you of the potential consequences or significant harm caused by the data breach, facilitating you to take appropriate actions to protect your rights.
As any website, internet transmission, computer system, or wireless connection is not absolutely secure, users also need to enhance their awareness of privacy and security risks. For example, when using our services to navigate to third-party websites, links, products, or services, please exercise caution and carefully read the agreements and terms of those websites, links, products, or services regarding the security of any data information collected. We do not assume any legal responsibility for data security issues caused by such third parties. If you discover that certain content, advertisements, or features on our website, products, or services are provided by third parties and may jeopardize your personal privacy and security, please contact us promptly, and we will prioritize addressing it in accordance with laws and regulations.
III. How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Your Personal Information
In sharing, transferring, and disclosing your personal information, we adhere to the principles and requirements of minimalization, necessity, and legal obligation. Under normal circumstances, we will not share, transfer, or disclose your personal information to external parties. However, in situations where applicable laws and regulations allow or require, we may share, transfer, or disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:
How We Share Your Personal Information
We will not sell any personal information to third parties. To provide you with timely services, your personal information may be shared with affiliated companies of Status Saver. We will only share the information necessary to provide services within the affiliated companies of Status Saver, and it will be subject to the constraints of the purposes stated in this privacy policy. If the relevant purposes are not included in this policy, we will explain them in the specific privacy policy or notice of the respective product or service.
How We Transfer Your Personal Information
Unless in the following situations, Status Saver will not transfer your information to any other party:
(1) Obtain your explicit consent.
(2) If Status Saver is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its assets that may affect your personal information, we will provide prominent notice through email and/or our website or other appropriate means to inform you of any changes in ownership, rights, and choices regarding your personal information.
(3) In situations already explained in this privacy policy or notified to you through other means.
How We Disclose Your Personal Information
Additionally, we may share your personal information with the following entities:
(1) When we seek professional advice, we may share your personal information with our lawyers, accountants, auditors, or similar consultants.
(2) Investors and other relevant third parties in the event of an actual or potential sale or other corporate transaction, involving entities within our group.
(3) Other third parties when disclosed with your authorization.
IV. How Your Personal Information Is Transferred Across Borders
For the purposes stated in this privacy policy, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in your region, and with your authorized consent, we may transfer your personal information to the resources or servers mentioned in Article III of this policy for storage or processing. We may also transfer your personal information to third-party service providers and business partners, which means your data may be transferred to other countries or regions. The privacy protection laws in these countries or regions may differ, and the legal jurisdiction of these servers may or may not protect personal information to the same standards as in your jurisdiction. Nevertheless, we will make efforts to comply with our privacy policy to protect your personal information. We will conduct cross-border transfers and other processing of personal information in accordance with the laws of the country or region where the personal information is located.
If we transfer personal information to a jurisdiction outside of your location, whether to our affiliated companies or third-party service providers, we will adhere to relevant applicable laws. We will implement appropriate security and protective measures to ensure that all such transfers comply with the requirements of local data protection laws.
V. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information
As a data subject, you have a series of rights regarding your personal information, including confirmation, access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, and complaints (hereinafter referred to as "requests"). We fully understand and respect these rights, and these rights will be subject to specific exclusions and exceptions under applicable laws. We will take proactive measures to ensure the effective protection of your rights. However, please understand that for security reasons, we may need to verify your identity before processing your requests. For your legitimate and reasonable requests, we generally do not charge fees. However, for multiple, repetitive, or excessive requests beyond reasonable limits, we may, depending on the circumstances and within the permissible range of applicable laws, charge reasonable fees. We may also refuse requests that are groundless, require excessive technical means (such as developing new systems or fundamentally changing current practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are highly impractical or in violation of mandatory legal provisions.
1. Confirmation and Access Rights: We inform you of how we collect and process personal information through this privacy policy or the privacy policy or notice in specific product or service scenarios. You have the right to confirm or reject such collection and processing by means such as checkboxes. However, when you reject, some functions that require your explicit consent may be unavailable. For personal information you have provided to us, you can directly query it in the interface of our products or services. In cases where querying is not possible, you can send an email to funandhitool@outlook.com, and we will promptly handle it upon receiving your email.
2. Correction and Deletion Rights: When your personal information changes, or when you find errors or incompleteness in the personal information we collect and process, you have the right to request correction or supplementation. For certain personal information, you can directly correct or modify it on the relevant functional pages of products or services. When the collection of your personal information has achieved its purpose or is no longer necessary, or when you find that we have violated the laws, regulations, or provisions of this privacy policy in the collection and processing of your personal information, you have the right to request us to delete the relevant personal information. For personal information without correction or deletion channels available to you, you can request correction or deletion by contacting funandhitool@outlook.com.
However, in some cases, we may not approve your deletion request. For example, if you request the deletion of transaction data and Status Saver has a legal obligation to retain records of that transaction to comply with applicable local laws. Please also note that if you request to delete your information from our products and services, due to certain applicable local laws and technical limitations, we may not immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system. However, we will securely store your personal information and prevent it from being further processed until the backup system is updated, your information can be deleted, or your information is anonymized.
3. Right to Withdraw Consent: To achieve specific functions of different products or services, we may need certain necessary personal information based on the applicable local laws. This is explained in "How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information" in this privacy policy. You can revoke the consent previously granted to us based on specific purposes by deleting information, disabling device functions, or withdrawing consent requests, including the collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal information that we control or control. You can contact us by email at funandhitool@outlook.com to carry out relevant operations. We will process your request within a reasonable time after receiving it, and after that, we will not collect, use, and/or disclose your personal information according to your request.
If you withdraw your consent, you may not be able to continue using some or all of the functions of Status Saver products and services. The withdrawal of your consent or authorization will not affect the validity of the previous processing activities carried out based on your consent
4. Right to Complaint: You have the right to file complaints by sending an email to funandhitool@outlook.com. We will respond promptly upon receiving your complaint. If you are dissatisfied with our response, especially if our personal information processing behavior has harmed your legitimate rights and interests, you can also seek a solution with the relevant data protection supervisory authority in your jurisdiction or file a lawsuit with the competent court.
5.Right to Manage Privacy Settings
You have the right to control your privacy settings. You can limit our collection, use, disclosure, or processing of your personal information through these privacy settings. For example, you can choose to enable or disable the "File and Media Permissions" function and permissions; you can also obtain more detailed information about the security status of your device in "Settings." VI. How We Process Children's Personal Information
Status Saver's products and services are not provided to children under 14 years of age or the equivalent age defined by the laws of your jurisdiction (different countries or regions may have different criteria for determining the age of children, and we will mainly define children according to the laws and regulations of the specific business location). We do not actively collect personal data of children, nor do we use children's personal information for marketing purposes. If you find that relevant information about children has been transmitted to us, please send an email to funandhitool@outlook.com to contact us, and we will delete the relevant information as soon as possible. When you use Status Saver products or services (such as life services, online customer service, etc.), you may receive website links from third parties other than us or content and services provided by third parties. Some third-party products or services may use SDKs and other methods. You can choose whether to access or accept websites, products, and services provided by third parties based on your judgment. Our privacy policy does not apply to any products and services provided by third parties. Because we cannot substantially control third parties, we cannot be responsible for the collection and processing of your personal information by such third parties. When you submit any information to such third parties, please carefully understand the privacy policy of such third parties and pay attention to protecting your personal information.
